Clow Cards

Any 90's kids remember Clow Cards? From the Anime TV show "CardCaptors" here in the U.S. As you may or may not know I brought some off eBay a few months back. I was playing around with my camera & laptop cause I have nothing better to do.

My Other Dance

I Belly dance and have for 7 years. There, I said it. I don't know if it's the way of dancing or the music but I was hypnosis by this art form when I first saw a performance on late night television a long time ago. Back then, it looked like a bunch of girls dressing up as different versions of Princess Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin, shaking their tummies. What I love the most about this way of dancing is any one with any body type can do this. In my dance class we have slim girls & big girls and they all are very good at dancing. Unlike in my ballet classes, where you are pressured to stay slim and slender through out you whole career, belly dancing, all body types are welcomed.

Take a look for yourself, two of my favorite belly dance videos.....

Studying Art History

Since the being of the new year I've decided that I would take a class in college. I love ballet but I need to think smart and have a backup plan should I find myself not dancing anymore. I've always loved art but just not the painting it self, its history. Take for instance, the "Mona Lisa" painting, I had no idea it was more than just a painting. People around the world are trying to uncover its secrets. I want to write books on paintings that has been forgotten by time. Works of art that aren't in the most famous museum.

I'm taking the course for 4 years at a University right here in Boston. Ballet and college, while working is going to be kinda hard. I don't know how I'm going to find time to sleep, but educating myself is well worth the sacrifice.
